Access America Enhances Coverage on Cancel Anytime Travel Insurance Plan
Innovative Alternative to Supplier Insurance Now Provides 100% Cash-back for Cancellations Due to Job Loss
Richmond, Va., April 20, 2009 - In an uncertain economy, fear of job loss may be enough to prevent consumers from booking a much-needed vacation. Today, Access America travel insurance announces enhancements to its Cancel Anytime plan that raises the reimbursement for trip cancellation due to job loss from 80% to 100%. By increasing the reimbursement associated with job loss cancellations, travelers can book their trip with confidence and be assured they won't be "in the red" if they find themselves with a pink slip.
Introduced in 2008, Cancel Anytime was designed to provide travel agents with a cash-back alternative for their cruise and tour clients who want the greatest cancellation flexibility. Insurance sold through cruise lines and tour operators can often reimburse insured travelers with a credit or voucher, limiting cash reimbursements to a limited number of situations.

The changes announced today:
The Cancel Anytime plan now offers 100% cash back if a trip is cancelled due to:
- Illness, Injury or Death
- Employee Termination or Layoff
- Terrorism
- Supplier Default
Coverage for termination or layoff requires that the insured must have one year of continuous employment with the same employer and that the termination or layoff not be for cause. Other unforeseen cancellations will be reimbursed at 80% cash back, including job loss cancellations for those with less then the one year of continuous employment. Additionally, Cancel Anytime can now be purchased up to the time of final trip payment. To receive coverage for Supplier Default, the insured must however purchase the insurance within 14 days of initial trip deposit.
